Having been suggested, discussed, and agreed upon by the committee to purchase a lake boat for use by the members of the club, the boat was finally launched in March just in time for the new season. The boat is a 19ft Foley boat and by all reports is very steady with plenty of room. Oars are supplied with the boat but you must bring your own engine/motor. The boat in moored at Fagans point on Lough Lene. It can be hired on clubmate where all the rules and regulations are posted. The cost is €10 per use/day.
