Trim member wins IKA Championship.
Well done to one of our committee members, Walter Bayer (Wolly) who won the Irish Kayak Angling Championship for 2022. Wolly who is a well know fly tyer, has been kayak fishing for a number of years now along with a couple of other club members.
The championship takes place over a series of competitions throughout Ireland both at sea and freshwater venues. With around 40 anglers taking part over the year, Wolly came out on top to become this years champion.
Walter travelled to Cork recently to be presented with his prize and cup by the IKA Club President, Jow Stenning.
